Organization: Crohn's and Colitis Canada
Continuing Education Credits: No

To all Ontario-based healthcare providers with IBD patients:

The Ontario Association of Gastroenterology would like to invite you to an information session via webinar to give a preview of a risk matrix developed by a panel of IBD experts and patients to present to the Ontario government. The risk matrix was developed as a solution to process patients who will be affected by the biologic to biosimilar switch policy. It is our understanding that the Ontario government is working towards announcing the non-medical switch policy as early as Fall 2022.

It is our hope that the risk matrix will minimize adverse health impacts on patients and support the government in processing exemption requests.

Please join us for this informative session led by co-leads of the risk matrix panel – Drs. Eric Benchimol and Jennifer Jones.

Please note that this is a closed-door session for Ontario-based healthcare providers currently acting as primary providers for IBD patients.
